I began writing this blog by quizzing my husband on the terms defined below. Although he comes from the corporate world, he now runs his own online company selling classic transmission parts and has been out of the corporate environment for the last two years. He did surprisingly well only missing the final term, SMB. Before you read on, I encourage you to quiz yourself.
Now that you have completed my little quiz, how did you do? Do you find yourself getting buried under workplace jargon? Below I have defined common workplace acronyms that apply to a multitude of industries.
SME – Subject Matter Expert
KPI – Key Performance Indicator
ROI – Return on Investment
CRM – Client/Customer Relationship Management
EOD – End of day
SMART – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time-bound

Until next Tuesday…
